  • Learn how to inspire members of your congregation to reduce their family’s carbon footprint by committing to a 10% energy-reduction tithe.
  • This training offers practical tips for families to put their faith into action on climate change, and all the tools you need to start a Cool Congregations program with your congregation.

  These trainings are co-sponsored by the Kansas East United Methodist Conference and are open to clergy and lay leaders of all denominations:

  Sunday, March 7th (2-5 PM):  Countryside United Methodist Church, Topeka, KS

  Saturday, March 27th (9AM-noon):  First United Methodist Church, Chanute, KS

  Saturday, May 1st (9AM-noon):  St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Lenexa, KS
