Rabbi Rieber is a 2004 graduate of the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College in Wyncote, Pennsylvania. He is a long-time activist on peace, social justice, and environmental issues, and brings a variety of pulpit and organizational experience to the work of Kansas IPL. He previously served as Rabbi of Congregation Beth Shalom in Naperville, Illinois, and as Executive Director of the Mid-Kansas Jewish Federation in Wichita, Kansas. He has extensive experience in interfaith work and nonprofit management, and served on Kansas IPL’s Steering Committee from 2008-2010. He and his wife, Suzy, live with their three children in Overland Park.
